TYPE OF INGREDIENTS / COMPONENTS

Any substance/part used to produce the certified VeganOK products is neither of animal source nor requires, for its extraction / processing, procedures that directly involve the exploitation of animals.

For more information on substances / materials allowed or explicitly forbidden and for further clarifications relating to this  issue, please refer to “Terms of Use VeganOK” available on line in an updated version on www.veganok.com.

ANIMAL TESTING:

While aware that the current European legislation on chemicals imposes the obligation of animal testing on all non-herbal substances by those who produce them, waiting and hoping that this legislation is amended, for what  concerns our work and what we have control and decision making on, we guarantee that for any substance we used to make certified products VeganOK, we have not ordered tests and procedures that have led to the direct exploitation of animals, and that no testing process or check over finished product  has, in any phase, directly involved animal exploitation.

GMO:

Substances or materials used in certified VeganOK products DO NOT come from GM crops. In case of use of substances derived from corn and soy, where the genetic manipulation is particularly common, the no transgenic source was assessed with particular attention and is supported by adequate documentation. Also, the use of specific molecules from cell cultures (biological engineering) is strictly forbidden.

PACKAGING AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT:

A policy of reducing the package used during the packaging phase, as well as all aspects relating to  the environmental impact of the product throughout its life cycle, has been implemented. DOCUMENTATION

For every product on the market (or any range of products if characterized by the same characteristics) a file containing all the certifications relating to the raw materials and processes that are part of the production of the finished product was prepared. The dossier also includes the description of the production process and the formula or description of the components of the finished product. It will be made available in all its parts in case of an inspection audit, carried out by personnel explicitly instructed by VeganOk.

MARKET PLACEMENT

In order to apply the VeganOk mark on any product, a copy of the Contract of Assignment must have been previously received. The logo “VeganOK” will correspond to the official logo in ratios and colours and any customization will be allowed only if authorized in writing by the management of VeganOK.

Fully aware that false declarations and false self-certifications are governed by the law, I agree with this statement of suitability as to what is required by the Terms of Use of the mark VeganOK.
