During the VeganFest, which will take place in Seravezza from April 27th to May 1st, 2012, GreenME will award the most innovative VeganOK-certified products that have distinguished themselves for their originality and progress.
The VeganOK Innovation AWARD 2012 is a prize dedicated to those VeganOK-certified products that are most characterized by innovative thrust either in concept or in production features.
At the VeganFest in Seravezza from April 27th to May 1st, 2012, the editorial team of GreenME, appointed as the jury for the occasion, will announce the winners of the first edition of the “VeganOK Innovation AWARD 2012”.
The winners will be selected based on their innovative features from an Ethical, Environmental, and Quality perspective, but above all, for the originality of the idea, the solutions adopted in the development or production phase, and in a relative manner. .
Sauro Martella, creator of the VeganOK ethical certification and organizer of the VeganFest, says, “We chose to collaborate with GreenME because, confident in their professionalism, we wanted the selection to be made with the utmost seriousness and attention. It would not have been transparent for us to decree the winners ourselves, as we are too close to the companies to express a calm judgment, so we believed that no one better than the staff of GreenME could lend authority to an important initiative like this“… Sauro Martella continues: “We will make available the spaces of the VeganFest to give the right visibility to the winning companies and their VeganOK-certified products because we believe it’s important to reward companies that invest in ethical products and services so that they can be an example to other companies and to increasingly consider that animal exploitation is unacceptable in today’s society.”

VeganFest is the largest Vegan event in Europe. Its second edition in the Municipality of Seravezza already boasts extraordinary numbers and participation. The main feature of VeganFest is the clear intention to welcome and share the festival even with the non-explicitly vegan world, suggesting the opportunity for change to realities that have not yet matured this awareness and introducing them to the ethical reasons for the Vegan choice.
