Just days after VeganFest 2018 concluded in Bologna, we’re revisiting a significant event—the presentation of the VEGANOK Award to Roberta Orrù and Pierpaolo Cirillo. Watch the ceremony in this video captured during the live broadcast.

The 12th annual VeganFest has concluded, highlighted by key events such as the exclusive release of the “BioDizionario” book and the poignant finale: the VEGANOK Award posthumously presented to Tiziano Terzani, which his son, Folco Terzani, accepted.

The highlight of VeganFest was an exuberant award ceremony that combined a massive turnout with electrifying music. Vegan singer-songwriter Red Canzian, formerly of the legendary band Pooh, received the VEGANOK Award. Renata Balducci, the president of AssoVegan, presented the award for his groundbreaking song, “Cosa abbiamo mai fatto”: the first authentic vegan anthem by a vegan artist.
